Bali : Places to Stay

KOMMUNE RESORT at Keramas is such a nice place to stay a few nights, right on the beach with with amazing spa treatments and they offer night surfing if you're into that stuff, as well as yoga and fitness classes for the active ones! The beach club is also a nice place to go for a drink/dinner even if you don't stay at the hotel as the view is awesome and you can hang out by the pool/beach with excellent service. Also, check out their store, it's hard to go away empty handed though.

GREEN VILLAGE Most amazing place we've stayed at by far, hands down. Bamboo luxury villas with amazing views into the rainforest and no walls so you sleep/shower etc listening to the sounds of nature. A bit pricey but a great way to spend a long weekend and admire the amazing bamboo architecture. It's located within walking distance from the Green School which is an awesome place to make a little visit to - check out their cafe and shop while you're there.

BAMBU INDAH Founded by John Hardy (The founder of Green School), is a good cheaper option to the Green Village plus it's in Ubud which is good for daytime activities, shopping and eating.

YOGA BARN Our love for Yoga Barn is big, their yoga classes are amazing, the food in The Garden Kafe is amazing so why wouldnt you want to be as close to that as possible? They offer private rooms or dorms for people on a budget. Best part of it is that it includes daily breakfast at The Garden Kafe!

UBUD AURA Very very close by to Yoga Barn and The Garden Kafe, which is always nice. Nice pool area and rooms and the location is great. They also have a yoga room - you can request a teacher to come and do a class with you/your group if you'd like. They also hold retreats and have a in-house SPA. It is also very close by to ZEN spa which is great for treatments at good a good price.
